Robert Griffin III has valuable advice for the Dallas Cowboys if they intend to lure Coach Prime into the NFL. The Colorado HC Deion Sanders has previously made his views known that he’s more interested in coaching a college football team over coaching the professionals on the next level. While it looks like he’s standing his ground, there could be a loose brick that could send him to the NFL despite his intention to remain in college football.

It’s no secret that Coach Prime is a proud father of Shedeur Sanders and Shilo Sanders who plays in his team. And it comes with no question that Deion Sanders is ready to walk the extra mile if it means that he will be able to keep a watch and protect his sons like a guardian angel. His sons could potentially change his mind about coaching the pros in the NFL.

In a recent Twitter upload by RG3 and The One, Robert Griffin III posted a short EP of Deion Sanders and wrote, “Draft his boys and you get Deion, Dallas.” In the video, the former NFL QB pushed Coach Prime into joining the NFL. In response, the Buffs HC remains solid in his decision but not without a hint that his unmoving attitude could budge as he said, “Only scenario you can possibly come with right now is to throw my kids in there, both of the kids… But I said no.”

Deion Sanders isn’t beating around the bush when he explained why he prefers coaching young college kids over professional players. He wishes to be able to influence the young minds who are more submissive and obedient than the professionals “that was getting a handsome check that didn’t want to play.” He said, “I love the college game. I love still having influence on the minds and the games of these young minds. I couldn’t do that at the next level.

Coach Prime shows no interest in coaching NFL teams

With the influence of Coach Prime on the Colorado college football scene, a lot of NFL speculations arose for the HC. But Deion Sanders has shut down these NFL rumors by answering directly, “No. No. Not whatsoever. I don’t think I’m built for the NFL. I appreciate the game so much, and I respect the game so much and what the game has consistently done for me for a multitude of years.”

His past reasoning aligns with the recent incident where RG III willed with all his power for Coach Prime to coach the Cowboys. The Hall of Famer said, “When I see a guy getting paid millions and millions and millions of dollars and has no respect for the game and does not want to excel and exceed expectations in the game, I’m going to have a true problem.” We can only wait to see what will happen when Shedeur and Shilo Sanders enter the 2025 NFL Draft.
