It almost seems like a sign from the universe for Deiondra to have her baby on the same day as Deion’s birthday. While the entire city of Boulder celebrated the significance of Coach Prime and his impact on the football program, Deiondra and Jacquees welcomed their baby boy on the same day as his birthday. National Prime Day turned into a National Grandaddy Prime Day pretty soon and it almost seems like Deion predicted it already.

Deiondra Sanders and Jacquees first announced their pregnancy during the month of March and after being together since December of 2023. While Deion did express a bit of reluctance about being a grandfather too young, he will be more than happy to welcome yet another boy to the Sanders family, and that too on his own special day.

Deion Sanders predicted the birth of Deiondra’s son on his birthday

On June 21st, Deion took to Instagram to share a photo of him sitting between Shedeur and Deiondra. The photo was adorable in itself but the caption that Deion sported along with it caught the attention of the fans. He wrote, “She gone show that lil baby off @deiondrasanders. It’s almost time and how about she told me the baby is due on my birthday!” Though initially, everyone in the Buffs zone treated it as an ongoing joke, everyone will have to pick their jaws up from off the ground since Coach Prime’s wish has been granted to fruition.

A user on X announced the news yesterday itself before it made the headlines and wrote, “Deion Sanders announces his daughter, Deiondra, gave birth to his first grandchild this morning — on his birthday, no less.” The Sanders family seems to be enveloped by the warmth of happiness all around and will go into this coming season with a mindset of serenity, which could lead to brilliant results on the gridiron this year. As for now, all of them are overjoyed with the birth of Deiondra’s son and have nothing but sweet wishes for the family that she and Jacquees are about to begin.

The Sanders family and their overwhelming emotions about Deiondra’s newborn

Deiondra has been through a lot of difficulties before successfully being able to give birth. Before the pregnancy announcement, Deiondra underwent several myomectomy surgeries to remove fibroid non-cancerous growths in the uterus. Despite being warned about a high-risk pregnancy, the son has arrived safely into the world and is surrounded by the men of the family who will cherish and love him unlike anything.

In the words of Deion Sanders himself, he thanked God and emphasized how massive of a blessing it is to have his grandson being born on the same day as his birthday. He was heard saying, “That’s how good God is, like God would choose me on my birthday, for my daughter, for my kids to have their first child, the first time I’m a grandfather, on my birthday. Do you understand how beautiful that is? How much of a blessing that is?”

Next, Shedeur was also extremely glad about their nephew being born and made the official announcement that the brothers are now uncles. He said, “We are uncles, yeah. It’s really exciting. My sister, I just got the text that she had a child.” Shilo Sanders, the Colorado safety, expressed his pride over his sister and commended her journey by saying, “He’s nice. He’s healthy. I’ve seen him on FaceTime. I’m proud of her.” Thus, there are all smiles within the Sanders household and the one thing that could widen the feeling would be a national championship trophy, which is something that their fans are desperately waiting to see the day.
