Deion Sanders has gained much popularity this season, even more than his team Colorado Buffs. However, coach Prime’s 4-6 record and his moves along the way have received heavy criticism. Well, it is safe to say that each analyst has something different to say about Sanders. However, Stephen A. Smith’s comments on Sanders particularly were quick to garner heavy attention.

With the swiftly changing dynamics, Smith opined Sanders would be an unrivaled fit as head coach of Texas A&M. But days before this, Smith called Colorado Buffs a ‘disgrace’. Podcaster Robert Whitlock was soon to understand the paradoxical nature of Smith’s statements. Bringing the criticism a notch above, Whitlock came out with his odd theory, one that has left the fans utterly confused.

Whitlock boiled it straight down to business when it came to addressing the Smith-Sanders incident. The YouTuber believed the ‘ploy’ was all about making more money for Sanders. “Money’s how they define themselves,” commented Whitlock. “All these media grifters are connected to Deion Sanders and is this some sort of Ploy by Deion to make Colorado have to pay him more.”

Further, Whitlock gave sincere arguments as to why it was a pre-devised ploy for him. Firstly, the best players of his team, including his sons, Sheduer and Shilo Sanders along with Travis Hunter, and more simply will not transfer again with Sanders to Texas. Sanders leaving his sons back to be coached by someone else because he is getting more money does sound chaotic.

Due to this, Whitlock feels that it is all a huge media gimmick to make Colorado pay Deion Sanders more than they already are. It also makes sense as Sanders’s on-field play calls have hurt the Buffs badly. Sanders even confessed that the team had lost to Oregon State due to his poor calls.

Whitlock calls Stephen A Smith an ‘uninformed person’

Smith was surely walking on thin ice when he commented on Deion Sanders joining Texas A&M. But he sure did not expect to be called an uninformed person on college football, especially when he is a football analyst. “This is an uninformed person,” bluntly stated Whitlock.

As if this was not enough, Whitlock also alleged Smith as favoring Sanders, so that Coach Prime can expect more money from the Boulders. Hence, Whitlock did not flinch a bit before absolutely assassinating Smith’s comments on Sanders, even raising speculations on Sanders’ next moves.
