Hold on to your cleats, sneakerheads! Coach Prime and his crew are gearing up for another Nike commercial shoot, and this time it involves some fresh kicks.
Remember that all-black family portrait with the sold-out Air DT Max ’96 “Varsity Maize” shoes? During mid-June, Deion and his sons wore black clothes and black and white sneakers, posing next to a chic black Lamborghini Aventador. Well, get ready for a white and black-sequel this time!
Deion Sanders Jr. spilled the beans in a Well Off Media video on July 16th. He revealed a box of the upcoming Nike Air DT Max ’96, this time in a sleek white and black colorway. “It’s coming out in September,” he said with excitement, “Only got them because we’re going to Dallas to shoot a commercial tomorrow. I can’t say y’all what commercial but we shooting a commercial in Dallas tomorrow and got to wear these in the commercial.” Sounds like another visually striking image to add to the collection!

Now, where can you snag these beauties? Unlike the “Varsity Maize” edition, you won’t need exclusive access. These are expected to be available on the Nike website and stores, alongside popular spots like KICKS CREW, StockX, and GOAT. Expect a price tag of around $170. Deion Sanders Jr. also added “You can get them from “Well Off” only fans.”

Now, the design itself keeps things classic. The white base gets some attitude with black claw marks, all covered by the classic metallic gold Nike logo. Not just for show, these shoes are expected to be a hit in the Buffs locker room too. And Deion Sanders has some huge plans with it!

Coach Prime’s back in the Nike game! Back in the 90s, he rocked Air Diamond Turfs as an NFL star. Then during his Dallas Cowboys time, he wore the classic Air DT Max ’96. Now, after decades, the $45 million worth head coach is just reviving those in his Colorado Buffaloes colorways — with a black, gold, and white makeover. Now, this is just the first of several “Coach Prime” shoes coming this year.

We even got a sneak peek or rather a sneaker peek this July 14th! Deion rocked these new kicks at the star-studded MLB game this Sunday and even hinted at a bigger plan during a Buffs Bug 12 media day. He wants to use them as a reward for his star players! “The guys that ball going to get them. I’m not putting everybody out there,” he said. Looks like the Buffs HC got his secret recruiting tool. Basically, these shoes are a “play well, get rewarded” kind of deal. No handouts here – gotta prove yourself first! “Show me what you got and then I can count on you….but if you don’t ball I can’t do that,” he firmly noted. Seems Deion has some ambitious plans with these Varsity Maize shoes.
