Deion Sanders Jr. misses no moment to showcase the strong bond that the Buffs O-line shares. His videos on the ‘Well Off Media’ YT channel show everything from marine training to their team building activities. After recruiting a brand new O-line this season, Coach Prime is working hard to ensure they all gel with each other.

Recently, Sanders Jr. brought forward a sideline banter featuring Buffaloes’ Dylan Edwards and Cormani McClain. The conversation that followed showcased a playful exchange and a strong bond that the players in the Buffaloes’ roster have.

The players were having breakfast when Sanders Jr. decided to join them for a quick chat, asking them what the ‘Word of the day’ was for them. Running Back Edwards came with a quick reply about chasing greatness in the play. However, after that McClain’s entry lightened the situation as his response to “Discipline” left Sanders Jr. stunned exclaiming, “What’s wrong with you!”  

Edwards added to the humor of the situation by cheekily commenting “Cause he the standard” causing the entire table to burst out with laughter. Other responses to Deion Jr.’s question varied from serious answers like, “Consistency“, “Sleep” and”Work“. The light-hearted joke showcases the camaraderie that often characterizes the relationships between players in the Buffaloes squad.   

On-field prospects of Edwards and McClain pair

With the Buffaloes gearing up for the upcoming season, the two protagonists of Sanders Jr.’s video hold high scope. In the first attempt as a true freshman, Edwards amassed over 250 rushing and receiving yards in a single season. The player expanded his athletic repertoire as a sprinter. With the Buffaloes amid off-season workouts, the former Kansas City Gatorade Player of the Year is working on weight training and evolving his speed.

A powerhouse on the football field, McClain on the other hand made a significant impact during his high school career before making his way into Coach Prime’s squad. Being a consensus five-star prospect, the player contributed to a flawless 14-0 season. He has impressive stats of 16 total tackles and five pass breakups showcasing his defensive prowess.    

As the Buffaloes strive for success on the field, Sander Jr.’s captured moment of bond between players contributes to the fabric of the team. Besides the camaraderie they share off-field as captured through their banter, on the gridiron, the laughter will contribute to the overall team dynamic.
