After 4th January, Travis Hunter’s priorities have changed. While football and the CU Buffs will always be on top for the electrifying two-way star. In his personal life, however, the dimensions have changed. Hunter announced his engagement to his long-time girlfriend, Leanna Lenee, through Instagram. The way of their announcement was as bedazzling as the announcement itself. Lenne took to her Instagram on Monday to flaunt her princess cut diamond band with the caption saying her answer “A million times. yes.” 

The shiny ring is reported to cost around $100k, per Bufs Beat. But all the playful teasing that Travis Hunter is attracting after the announcement is priceless. Deion Sanders, along with industry giant Lil ‘Tunechi’ Wayne, took a playful jibe at the Buffs’ star player. The story started with Travis Hunter missing the Super Bowl game to spend time with his fiance, Lenne, per Sanders. “Who don’t wanna come to Super Bowl? “ sneered Prime teasingly. Further, he clarified, “Him and his girl. He ain’t going out, he ain’t doing nothin. He ain’t smoking drinking. He’s going to put on a onesie to play that game. That’s all he gonna do. He’d fish,” Sanders elaborated, placing Hunter in a hot spot regarding his routines.

Well, who can blame Hunter? The couple has been the epitome of high school sweethearts. Hunter and Lenne moved in together in their senior year at Collins High School. Their bond strengthened further when they started a YouTube channel in 2022. Through that, not only were they able to know each other better through the fans’ Q&A, but it also gave the fans all the insight they needed about Hunter and Lenne.

High on love, the couple also shared snippets from their vacations ranging from Jamaica to Glenwood Springs, Colorado, and most recently Puerto Rico, where the couple got engaged, per rumors. While Hunter excelled in the ‘how to pop the question’ assignment, he also had some tips for ‘Buckey’ Sanders Jr.

Along with his insight, Hunter also shared a secret about his commitment to his fiance since the inception of their relationship. On being asked when he was going to ask Lenne out, Hunter did not take a second thought before answering, “Like five years ago bro.” It’s only fair for fans to set them as couple goals.
