The Deion Sanders revelation has been nothing short of a fairytale for the Buffs. Having finished last in the contention race the previous year, getting three wins out of the three games was a big achievement. However, as the weeks went by, the second half of the season, the Buffs could add just one more win to their tally!

Despite the lackluster performance, the team got 4 wins out of their 12 games, which is already a lot more impressive than last year. However, there’s another thorn in the Buffs and Sanders’ feet that is keeping them away from acquiring good talent. In the span of 24 hours, as many as three future players have de-committed from the team. The latest to join with Antwann Hill for the de-commitment, the hits just keep on coming for the Buffs! It’s now turning out to be a major headache for Sanders and Co. as they seek talented players for the 2025 season.

Young players who are finishing up their last years in high school, plan in advance for the future. They have a long-sighted vision to join a university football team and use it as a platform for pushing into the NFL draft.

However, the oldest trick in the game might have gone sour for the Buffs. Now the three-star running back has become the recent player to de-commit his future relationship with the Buffs. It might be a piece of shocking news for the fans and even the Colorado management. With the side requiring a well-rounded attack, this hampers the team’s future chances of making it big in the NCAA.

The boy from Sunshine State also sent out an official statement regarding his decision. Jamarice spoke to On3 concerning his de-commitment, saying-“I have de-committed from Colorado and my recruitment is now 100% open.”

Now, this right here is an absolute shocker. It’s like a fumble that the Colorado management didn’t see coming. Wilder is a clutch player and his talent knows no bounds. His impressive numbers are a testimony to his outstanding gameplay. Wilder currently ranks as the No. 571  as per the On3 Industry Ranking. Of course, this is the sum weighted average of all four prominent media recruiting companies.

Overall, the player also comes across as no. 44 running back position. Moreover, he’s overall the no.74 player in the Florida state that holds the position. While de-commitment is quite common and nothing new. Having three back-to-back such cases within a day sends a wrong message across for the NCAA side.

Have they lost their credibility as an impactful side? Is the Buffs’ poor show in the second half of the 2023 season to blame for the de-commitments? Or, perhaps there could be something internal with the management not giving a 100% chance to players to show their skills.
