How about some Prime Time news after the major Nike sell-out? The fight to possess the Nike Air DT Max ‘96 shoes was insane as Deion Sanders’ new shoes reportedly sold out in minutes after being released on June 14. But are they gone forever?

Nike first announced the release date about a month ago with a couple of drops in Colorado and Atlanta, which stimulated interest in the release. Originally, Nike planned for this version to be officially released in 2025 but the insurmountable popularity and demand changed their initial plan, and was released on Friday instead. For those who didn’t manage to get a pair of the Nike Air DT Max ‘96, there’s still a next time. Deion Sanders recently uploaded a sold-out picture of the shoe on X and assured his fans writing, “Don’t worry if you missed out on this release, Nike has revealed four Diamond Turf 3 colorways, along with Nike Air Diamond Turf 1’s coming soon.”

Anticipation takes the lead again as fans wait for the release of the next of the four DT 3 colorways. Deion Sanders has also used IG as a platform to thank his fans for the success of the sale. He said, “Thank you everyone that supported us and purchased our shoe and apparel collection thru Nike. We love u and truly appreciate u. We’re working on youth sizes as I text you. We’re just getting started, I can’t wait till u see the other color waves & styles that are coming.” Hopefully, the surprise that Coach Prime is teasing us with will be released over the next two years.

As Deion Sanders cited, this Prime Effect with Nike is just the beginning with four Diamond Turf 3 colorways on the way. But let’s not mistake these upcoming releases as shoes as right now, they’re referring to cleats. Still, fans can be in luck as the DT 3 in the Colorado black and gold colorway is expected to be released in shoe form. 

The Nike Air Diamond Turf 1 that Deion Sanders mentioned in his post is also in cleat form. This special version features the original San Francisco 49ers colorway which is reminiscent of his NFL days with the 49ers. Fans have shown high interest in the version. Now that the Nike Air DT Max ‘96 shoes are all gone, all we can do is wait for more updates on the upcoming releases.
