Woah! There’s a new tag for Deion Sanders’ Colorado Buffaloes. More than college football, the alleged locker room drama led Coach Prime’s program to be labeled a “real-life GTA.” But wait! The Colorado Buffaloes alum, Matt McChesney, had to say something about it. On the August 6 episode of the Zero 2 Sixty with Matt McChesney podcast, the ex-Buffs with co-host Bailey Price sifted through the details based on the allegations raised. While anonymity is a BIG NO NO for McChesney, Deion has landed good news while keeping a positive outlook.
Deion and Colorado Buffaloes again landed in a hot mess, all thanks to the latest report from Athlon Sports that revealed how an ex-player took a jab at the program. The former Buffs raised the alarm on how Coach Prime allowed violence to run rampant in the locker room, “It’s like a real-life Grand Theft Auto video game. There are many distractions with fights, guns, and money floating around. The environment is unlike any I’ve come from before.” And as expected, it did not sit well with Deion’s confidant and the Buffs alum. McChesney highlighted this is not something new, “First of all this sounds like a good college football team to me okay here’s usually you have kind of problems when I was there we had tons of problems uh because we had a bunch of f*cking heathens on our team that and the majority of us have NFL pensions.”

And amidst this allegation, what went off for the alum? “I hate anonymous. B*tch say what you’re supposed to say if you hide behind a like a a fake name and a fake picture and talk sh*t on social media you’re an anonymous b*tch,” confirmed McChesney. But Deion was too caught up in a hustle to watch the drama unfold. Here is some good news for the Buffs family.
Deion and Buffs edge out the competition
After a disastrous 2024 transfer season, it’s time for Deion to hit the rebound button. And guess what? The Buffs HC has been lucky to gain the first spot in the top 10 transfer portal team rankings. That means he has signed and sealed the top-ranked transfers in NCAA football this season. The Colorado Buffaloes now have an edge over other rebuilding programs like Louisville, which stands at the second spot, and Ole Miss, which stands at No.3.
Even though Deion did not land any five-star transfers, he managed to gain the trust of 41 transfers that made 10 more than Louisville, enough to balance his existing roster. Out of the players who committed to Deion’s Colorado, eight are four-star players, and 27 are three-star transfers. If the speculations had been confirmed that some serious problems prevailed in the Buffs locker room, then Deion would have failed to pick up the hefty bunch.
Hold on, as something bigger awaits! Like Deion, his son, Shedeur, keeps calm as he enters an important chapter. A viral video shows the Buffs quarterback conversing with a Las Vegas Raiders scout. And what Shedeur had to say? “Tell the Raiders I’m chilling.” The only way Deion and the Buffs fam can hush the haters is by Shedeur hitting it big in the NFL.
