Finally, the truth is out! Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes have been dragged through the dirt for quite a long time. But the DNVR Sports dedicated their August 6 episode to take a hit at the players who whipped up back-to-back controversies. All have been lies, from the Buffs’ safety Shilo bullying the ex-Buffs Cormani McClain to Deion’s mandate for the roster to attend his son Shedeur’s concert. Meanwhile, the podcast hosts’ interest in addressing the issue got even more intense when McClain was the one who had to dismiss the rumors on the latest hit piece.

Since the transfer portal, followed by the Black and Gold weekend, Deion and Colorado Buffaloes have been on the hot seat. When Lil Wayne performed at the concert, rumors started doing rounds that Coach Prime had raised a warning to throw players out who would miss out on Shedeur’s performance. But it was nothing but a lie! Hence, RK, on the podcast, decided to address how the source of the rumor lacked credibility.  “It’s wild to me that someone who I said had no credibility in the first place puts out a false story about Shedeur and how coach Prime threatened to kick players off the team if they didn’t go to Shedeur’s concert which has been unequivocally defeated…it has been proved that that had zero truth to it.”

What further enhances the honesty gap? RK pointed out, “It’s an irrelevant writer from an irrelevant outlet and this is what they do. They’ve been targeting the program for a few months now, they don’t come to Boulder again.” Months later, from the Lil Wayne concert hoopla, the Buffs are now targeted with something new. It’s now time for Shilo to be at the receiving end of attacks since he is held responsible for allegedly bullying McClain, which led him to call it quits with the Colorado fam. But here, too, RK pointed out how it’s nothing but a rumor, “Cormani himself, who is perceived as the victim in this story right, comes out and says, “Nah, that’s cap!” Yeah like what are we doing here? That should just be the end of it.” But what exactly did happen?

Deion’s leadership is under fire while McClain speaks out

On August 5, Athlon Sports writer Steve Corder wrote an article titled “Deion Sanders Chaotic Culture Turns into Locker Room Violence in Colorado..” For this, the writer relied on certain quotes from an anonymous ex-Buffs who allegedly let his treasure open about the violent events in Boulder ever since Colorado hired Deion as their HC. One of them surrounded the reason behind the now-Florida Gators CB hitting the transfer portal.

The anonymous player claimed, “Cormani was taking a lot of heat from everyone. At the same time Coach Prime was saying he was in the doghouse and needed to improve, Cormani was getting bullied by Shilo (Sanders).” He further added how the two got involved in a physical altercation, “After the Oregon State game, Shilo slapped him several times, which left Cormani screaming ‘I’m going to kill you’ repeatedly.” But wait! It’s nothing but pure fabrication.

After all, it’s McClain who came up with the stamp of approval. The TS4T Sports Media show on August 5 delved in-depth into the article. They even covered McClain’s reaction, saying, “Ah yo,” which translates to him giving a thumbs down. It’s time to wait and see how Deion stands up for his son Shilo.
