The family had been celebrating the birth of Deiondra’s pregnancy already but as per recent events, they will also have Deiondra’s engagement to add to the series of occasions. What was initially supposed to be a baby shower turned out to be an elaborate plan for Jacquees to ask Deiondra to be his bride and meet him across the altar. Jacquees’ speech and his proposal were totally unpredictable and everyone including the ex-wife of Deion, Carolyn Chambers, was emotional about the incident and took to Instagram to voice her feelings.

Nobody, including Deiondra, expected Jacquees to pull out the mic and give a heartwarming speech before proposing to her. The singer even took to Instagram to share the entire speech with his fans and supporters, who were all touched by the density of emotions that he had to offer for Deiondra. In the comments, Deiondra wrote, “🥲 I love you so much honey❤️” as she will now look forward to donning the white dress and marrying the man of her dreams.

Jacquees speech even brought Momma Deiondra to tears as her comment read, “Reading this made me cry all over again… heartfelt, beautiful words. Thank you for taking care and loving my blessing ❤️❤️ ” Additionally, the fans and all their family are currently showering the couple with their well wishes and congratulations for the future that promises eternal love and togetherness. What’s really funny to note is while Carolyn was joyous to hear Jacquees speech in person and loved every moment of it, she already knew about the proposal as she talked about it in Bucky’s latest video.

It is a common convention for a man to first ask his partner’s parents’ permission before proposing to marry, and in the case of Deiondra-Jacquees, that is also what happened. Carolyn kept up with the act until the last moment and though she was really happy for Deiondra, she sure slipped up and let the cat out of the bag.

On the 14th July episode of the Well Off Media channel, Bucky documented the entire baby shower and even Jacquees’ surprise proposal. Ironically, it wasn’t too much of a surprise for him since Carolyn had already told him of Jacquees’ plans beforehand. Bucky asked his mother how she was feeling after the proposal and she responded, “I feel good. It’s a beautiful thing. And I kept it a secret. I told my baby though. I told you. I can’t keep a secret but I didn’t tell nobody but my baby.” Thus, it must’ve been tough for the mother to hold in such exciting news but she did a good job at it anyway. The video also saw Deion and Shedeur both call Deiondra to wish her congratulations and Jacquees telling Bucky that they’re now brothers-in-law. The couple’s new connections will be made with a ring, and more will be made as soon as their baby opens his eyes to a glorious family.
