The biggest beef in rap history seems to have reached Coach Prime’s ears too, but it doesn’t look like he is aligning with either side. Kendrick Lamar and Drake have recently been going at each other’s throats with several diss tracks, and even though the entire industry seems divided, Deion has chosen his faith over the petty war of words.
Deion Sanders, the coach for the Colorado Buffaloes, had a brief stint in the world of rap himself. He is one of the very few professionals to record an album, Prime Time, and several other singles titled, ‘Must be the Money’ and ‘Prime Time Keeps on Tickin.’ Thus, while he’s had a short-lived rap career himself, it looks like he’s chosen a path of faith over music as he picks Jesus in the debate between Drake and Kendrick Lamar.

The fan posed a question to Deion in the comments and wrote, “So who winning UNC? Drake or Kendrick Lamar” Deion responded with a one-word answer and said, “JESUS.”
Moreover, another of his replies read, “Let’s stop placing brothers against brothers and appreciate the gifts they both possess” Thus, Deion wants no feelings of conflict between the two global rap stars but that’s not the feeling that the entire NFL community shares. More notably, the Detroit Lions are participating actively in the beef with their active social media account.

The tweet read, “If you taking it there I’m taking it further.” This phrase comes from Kendrick’s diss track, Euphoria, where he responded to Drake directly for the first time after a month of no response. Thus, it is safe to say that the head of the social media account of the Lions’ is a proud Kendrick fan, while people like Deion in the NFL choose to remain absolved from the debate.
