Deion Sanders‘ biggest hater takes a shot at him yet again. Jason Whitlock has been known to have a touchy side regarding Coach Prime. Throughout the start of the season, he’s been known to drag his name through the dirt at every given moment. And with the recent controversy over Florida’s snub from the CFP rankings, Whitlock didn’t disappoint with his opinion.

The college football playoff rankings have been revealed, and unfortunately, they are quite controversial. Teams that have made it into the top four spots are Michigan, Washington, Texas, and Alabama. But with FSU having such an incredible season, their snub from the CFP rankings has left the fans perplexed. As such, Jason Whitlock used FSU’s missed opportunity to target Deion Sanders and how the NCAA has had a preference for him.

The FSU team has been heavily disappointed with last night’s announcements. Coach Mike Norvell’s team has been crowned the Atlantic Coast champions with an unbeatable season, and that too wasn’t enough for them to get a spot in the playoffs. This controversy has caused an uproar on the internet, and this is what Whitlock had to say in response to Daniel Kanell’s tweet for FSU.

Daniel talked about how FSU should’ve used Travis’s injury as an excuse to gain sympathy from the CFP committee rather than announcing that he would be soon coming back from recovery. Furthermore, he talked about how coach Norvell’s integrity didn’t allow him to play such a low tactic.

In response to Kanell’s tweet, Whitlock said, “Danny, you know if Deion was the coach at FSU, the committee would’ve put the Seminoles in the playoffs. Think about it.” Thus, he aims at the partial treatment that Deion has been constantly getting throughout the start of the season. But the fans know that Whitlock’s words only stem from a personal feud rather than actual stats. With all that said, Jordan Travis, the quarterback for FSU, had a heartfelt message for the fans after the team failed to make the playoffs.

The Florida State Seminoles will be going through a hard time. They gave it their all, yet it wasn’t enough to turn the heads of the CFP committee. Regarding the devastating news, this is what Jordan Travis had to say about the lost playoff opportunity.

Travis said, “I wish my leg broke earlier in the season so y’all could see this team is much more than the quarterback. I thought results matter. 13-0 and this roster matches up across any team in those top 4 rankings.” Furthermore, this is what Whitlock was also referring to. If Norvell had capitalized on Travis’ injury rather than announcing his possible return, it would’ve been the Florida team in the fourth position rather than Alabama today.
