The 4th of July means something different for everyone. For the Sanders boys, it meant getting cozy and recharging up in the luxurious Miami before taking on the challenge of redeeming Colorado’s name. Whereas for Shelomi Sanders, who has found a new home in Alabama A&M after ditching Colorado, it means forming a stronger bond with the Alabama A&M teammates.

In a recent Instagram story, Shelomi was spotted doing a special handshake with one of her coaches, Coach Freeman, at her new home. It was just in the spring transfer portal window of 2024 that Shelomi Sanders broke off her ties with the Colorado women’s basketball team and joined hands with a SWAC HBCU college, Alabama A&M. As Shelomi Sanders gets comfortable and prepared in her new home, she has garnered support from several of her family members, and eventually from her father, too.

Initially, when Shelomi Sanders announced her decision to flip to A&M, Deion Sanders called her “stupid.” It was enough to enrage the ex-women in Prime’s life as his ex-wife Pilar Sanders and his ex-fiance Tracey Edmonds jumped at her defense. Pilar, the mother of Shelomi, was utterly disappointed in Prime as she instantly called him out. Putting her foot down for her daughter, Pilar rebuked Prime online saying, “Stop talking about a present parent. It’s not stupid.”

On the other hand, Deion Sanders’ ex-fiancee, Tracey Edmonds also ignored the words of Prime as she supported Shelomi in her decision. When Shelomi Sanders announced her decision on Instagram on April 26 by donning an Alabama A&M jersey, Edmonds quickly commented on the post showing her approval. “Congratulations Shelomi! You will be GREAT there!”

After all this, the father-daughter duo solved their indifferences over a game of corn hole. Since then, things have been going smoothly between the father-daughter duo. However, Shelomi not joining her father when all the Sanders kids, except pregnant Deiondra, are on a Miami vacation raised some eyebrows.

Deion Sanders and Co. lavish on a vacation in Miami

Deion Sanders and his boys are having one of the best vacations in Miami. The Sanders clan boys hit the road to Miami to celebrate the 4th of July ahead of a demanding season in Colorado. Deion Sanders took to his Instagram to share some updates on his Miami vacation where he was enjoying some water adventures like Jetskiing with his close friends on board.

Deion Sanders Jr. and Shedeur went out in the city after a bit of friendly sibling teasing in the hotel room, as updated by the Well Off Media vlog of July 4th. Bucky then headed off to a shopping spree in a high-end mall in Miami, also managing to meet his long-time girlfriend, Britanny Faye, in between.

Shilo Sanders, on the other hand, decided to freshen up his corn rows by hopping on the barber’s chair ahead of the regular season. With the Sanders all revamped for redeeming the 4-8 challenge, fans can expect to see some action from them on-field against North Dakota State, their first opponents of the season.
