The tug of war is real! On one hand, all the supporters of Deion Sanders and Prime himself are trying their best to prove the allegation against Sanders false. On the other, we have everyone trying to prove, no matter what, that Coach Prime indeed coerced the players to attend Shedeur Sanders’ opening performance in the Lil Wayne concert on the threat of Prime dismissing them from the program.

Well, giving a tight slap to all the people claiming the fact about Deion Sanders came from the Colorado recruit, Colton Hood. During his interview with ON3, the CU recruit stood up for Deion Sanders, once again debunking the myth that Prime did not force the players to attend the concert.

“That Coach Prime making folks go to Shedeur concert. Like come on bro, really there’s no way you made a story about that. It’s just crazy because it’s nothing like what people say on Twitter. Oh, Shedeur don’t like even the players. I mean like they all cool people, like they all good people. So it’s not like its nothing like what the people tried to tell me,” Hood confessed in the interview, defending not only Coach Prime but also Shedeur.

The best part? Hood is not the only Colorado player asserting the claim to be false. Several other players have confessed the fact too in the Well Off Media video posted on June 18. LaJohntay Wester, the defensive beast that CU added to their roster this summer roster proudly claimed that he “didn’t go to the concert” and that he was “still here.”

Another transfer portal recruit of this spring portal window, Omarion Miller, agreed with Wester’s words, adding that “He (Deion Sanders) would never force us.” If all these testaments were not enough, Shedeur Sanders cleared out the actual scenario that unfolded right before the concert.

How Shedeur Sanders’ performance was arranged

Shedeur Sanders, who was in the spotlight of the whole incident, portrayed as the condescending QB forcing his music career upon his teammates, claimed that his father was not even sure if he was going to perform. “Bro, that crazy ‘cause we didn’t even know we was going to perform… Dad ain’t even know we going to perform.”

They were not even sure if Lil Wayne was going to perform since the crew had “messed up the lights”. Not only this, but Shedeur Sanders also claimed that “They couldn’t see who was on stage,” since the lights were messed up. With the current Colorado players, along with the Sanders kids, plus the other staffers at Colorado, not to mention the YouTubers and online analysts, supporting Prime, Deion Sanders has already won more than half the battle.
