Evеr since Deion Sanders took the helm at CU, hе has undoubtedly rеcеivеd hеaps of support from thе nation, especially from Bouldеr. Despite a 4-8 setback, the Buff Nation never stopped believing in the Colorado football program and their beloved Coach Prime, through several challenging periods. Their support for the development Coach Prime is bringing to Boulder, both athletically and economically, has been quite palpable. It’s the love from people around him. And to give it back to society, CU football and Coach Prime collaborated to host the Special Olympics on campus.

As shown by an episode of The Pregame Network on June 12th, Shedeur Sanders and Co. lovingly hosted the special athletes, interacting and playing sports with them. Joining Shedeur is LB Jeremiah Brown, who can be seen interacting with his fans and signing the balls for them.

Notably, Chaka Sutton from the Special Olympics shared his thoughts and feelings on the opportunity given by CU and Coach Prime. “They love football but they probably never get a chance to play CU football,” expressed Sutton, looking at his special athletes, “They follow CU and a lot of the players are their idols. So a chance to come in and do some drills where they’re at—you know it will make their day. It’s a chance of a lifetime for them.”
