“The future is bright, brother.” This couldn’t be far away from the truth. Deion Sanders has built the Buffs up from scratch. From a team that had nothing to a team that has millions in valuation and has the potential No.1 QB and also the best college football players on the team. Despite having a terrible season back in 2023, everyone on the team would agree that the Buffs are now better than ever. Even Uncle Neely agreed on an episode of Thee Pregame Show, explaining that the boys are faster, stronger, and have better accuracy.
The 2024 season is building up to be something amazing for the Buffs. The team is all set and ready to dominate on the field. So now, on Well Off Media, we find Coach Prime giving out more motivation for the boys. The July 28th episode saw Deion Sanders asking Shedeur Sanders and the others, “Who’s the best QB player in the game right now?” And without hesitation, everyone said “Patrick Mahomes”. Straight facts, and it looks like Deion is also using Mahomes as the prime example of getting his boys all prepped up for the field. The team has already seen massive changes to its overall comp. With Deion using the early transfer portal to pull in more linebackers into the team and revamp the O-line, Shedeur will have all the support he needs. At the other end of the rope, Travis Hunter has gained some considerable weight and looks more mean and stronger on the field. Even Shilo Sanders has been quite vocal about the fact that the team is in a good position this year. In an interview with Brian Howell, Shilo explained, “More guys are hungry to go to the league.”

However, the main star of the show, Shedeur Sanders, also got some major hype around him as well. Back in June, Uncle Neely had claimed, “It’s the same thing they do in Kansas City with Mahomes. Anytime you have that level of a quarterback, everything is built around them, and that’s the case here in Colorado.” This makes sense when we check out the stats between Shedeur and Mahomes. In his career, Mahomes has racked up 93 touchdowns and 11,252 yards. Shedeur, on the other hand, has already gotten 97 touchdowns and 10,193 passing yards in the 2023 season alone. NFL analyst Daniel Jeremiah put it down perfectly in his scouting report. “Sanders has the foundation in place to develop into a solid NFL starter,” he wrote. Shedeur is ultra-competitive and has functioned properly, even under immense pressure. It ain’t no wonder why his sister Deiondra Sanders thinks Shedeur will cut a major NFL deal in 2025.

July 27th saw Jordan Love becoming the first QB to have the highest-paid deal in NFL history. With a massive $220M contract with the Packers, followed by a $75M signing bonus plus $155M in new guarantees, the 4-star QB has struck gold. Deiondra Sanders took to X that day to state that she has all the faith in Shedeur being able to bag something like this. It’s quite understandable why she feels this way.
Shedeur has excellent balance and weight transfer and has a lot of arm strength. That kid is also amazing at driving the ball downfield. The only area in which he was weak was playing in the pocket and now, with the changes that have been made to the Buffs, that problem will be covered hopefully. Let’s see how to Buffs manage to tackle the others this season.

Can Shedeur Sanders live up to the Mahomes comparison, or is Deion setting the bar too high?
