Taking to his Instagram, Deion Sanders shared a video that struck a nostalgic chord in his sons’ hearts. The video had fathers not going soft on their kids in sports training and encouraging them to match them. “This is the type of dad #CoachPrime was – @deionsandersjr,” Prime captioned the post, cheekily calling out the complaints their sons made about their dad being too tough on them. Growing up with Prime, the Sanders kids had to fight their battles, especially the sports ones against their father, ardently.

Deion Sanders Jr. jumped to the defense of himself and his brothers as he agreed with the fact. “He ain’t lying! Ask Shilo Sanders how far I hit his ball when he thought he could strike me out. Shedeur Sanders was there as well. He said wow Daddy,” Deion Sanders Jr. said in a comment, recalling an incident from his childhood of practicing baseball with his father when he outplayed him who was once the runner-up in a 1992 world series. While Deion let him gloat about it and have his moment, there was something that he would never tolerate with Shedeur and Shilo. Them not getting to live much with their mom.

The $11.8 million assault and battery lawsuit that Shilo Sanders lost brought out some other deep-buried secrets of Sanders past to the front. One was the messy end of Deion Sanders and ex-wife Pilar’s relationship. John Darjean, the victim of Shilo’s assault, revealed the dirty details of Pilar’s and Prime’s relationship from back when the incident happened in 2015.

“He didn’t like Pilar at all. That’s what it was all about,” Darjean confessed on the show ‘Fearless’. Since Deion Sanders believed that Pilar ‘was crazy‘ he had said a big no-no to Shilo Sanders from living with his mother even when he wanted to. “Shilo wanted to live with his mother. Deion Sanders was like, no ‘I have his custody’. His mom is not allowed to talk to him. She just got out of jail or something,” Darjean revealed, making a major accusation against Prime. During their divorce case in 2013, Prime was given the sole conservatorship of his sons, Shedeur and Shilo.
