Deion Sanders seems to be counting on the Colorado Buffaloes governor, Camden Dempsey. The Buffs HC was missing from the first State of the Program address. But there is nothing to worry about since Dempsey has it covered. On Saturday, June 1, instead of Sanders, it was the governor of CU Football who ensured to keep the fans on the same page as he enlightened them about the current status and future goals of CU Football.

Now that Dempsey had fulfilled such a crucial role, Coach Prime could not be any less proud and gave him a shoutout on Twitter. The session has been an interesting one since Dempsey cleared the air about the cold war between two Buffs’ big shots, Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter.

Dempsey has been a fresh face since Buffs fans are used to seeing Deion Sanders every time the football program had to arrange a press meet. Now that the governor has replaced Coach Prime, rather than the Buffs HC getting disappointed, they seem to have celebrated this substitution. After the Saturday session, Dempsey shared the link to his video with the motive of better outreach. The tweet read, “Thanks for tuning in everyone! In case you missed it, the video is up on YouTube and available to watch here: https://youtu.be/NXgpjGAsLlw?si=9yW5AZqGu2jCQydZ. Be sure to like, subscribe, and share as well- more to come! @CUBuffsFootball @DeionSanders”.

While the Buffs fans poured in positive reviews, signaling that they loved how Dempsey performed his task even though he had carried a lot of expectations, hardly the governor expected a fanboy moment. Amidst the crowd, it was Deion Sanders who left a note of appreciation for him by re-sharing his tweet. The Buffs HC could not be any less proud, as he wrote, “Love ya man and so Darn Proud of u !!!”. Is the support because Dempsey did a good job in whitewashing the Shedeur-Travis bond?

Dempsey dismisses chances of cracks in Shedeur-Travis camaraderie

Ever since EA Sports College Football 25 has dropped its cover, there seems to be a crack in the otherwise strong bond between Shedeur and Hunter. The reason is the Buffs’ dual threat of beating Shedeur and making it to the cover. But Dempsey turned out to be confident about their camaraderie. Coming up with a stamp of approval, the governor claimed, “Absolutely. There’s a reason that they’re rated so highly in EA Sports. You come to practice every day and it’s like getting to go to an NFL practice. I mean they practice like pros, act like pros. Their bond is so strong that any beef that you’ve heard between any of the guys in the locker room is just non-existent.”

Before Colorado kicks off their first season game against North Dakota State on August 29, Deion Sanders’ squad is looking for some nutritional guidance. As Dempsey confirmed, the Buffs are on a search hunt for a nutritionist in order to ensure the players feed themselves healthy food that would fuel them to come back to action.

Through this session, Camden Dempsey ensured to check on all the checkboxes that Deion Sanders would have covered otherwise. From clearing out the rumors to seeking help with some staff recruitment, the governor’s only motive was to endorse the Buffs as much as he could.
