And after transferring to Colorado, he continued to impress, becoming a key player for the Buffaloes under Coach Deion Sanders, who praised him as a “frickin’ warrior” and a “game-changer.”

Over two seasons, he played in 23 games, registering 67 receptions for 959 yards and four touchdowns, and significantly contributed to special teams with 16 kick returns for 323 yards and a touchdown​.
