It is Julian Lewis’s world. We’re just living in it. The five-star phenom has two universities wrapped around his finger: USC and Colorado, waiting for him to choose them. Technically, Lewis has already chosen by committing to USC in April. The choice comes in because of the interest that the Carrollton High School prospect has been displaying in Colorado and its program.

The fever pitch of all the rumors of Lewis flipping to Colorado was hit on June 21-23, when Lewis finally took an official visit to Colorado. As the NCAA word awaits his verdict following CU’s official visit without batting an eyelash, ON3’s analyst Josh Newberg presents the fans with the only question that matters now: “So JuJu enters the summer as a USC commitment but the question is will JuJu exit the summer as a USC commit? ”

Well, in his June 24 podcast, Newberg recalled the time when Lewis put a time limit to wrapping up his recruitment process with ON3. Lewis had admitted that “My plan’s to shut it down before the season. Just so I can focus on things that need to be done for my senior year.” With the season-opening games just being 2 months away, the NCAA recruiting giants know that Lewis’s decision on whether he chooses to flip to Colorado or continue his journey with Coach Riley would be coming in at any moment.

The USC or Colorado Conundrum of Julian Lewis

The tension in the air surrounding Lewis’s verdict between CU and USC can be cut by a knife. On one hand, Julian Lewis particularly asserted that he is still “100% locked in with USC” following his official visit to Auburn and USC.

Julian Lewis’ father T.C. Lewis, who is also the mentor of Lewis and an influential figure in his decision, confessed that Lewis’ commitment to the USC is based solely on head coach Lincoln Riley. T.C. Lewis affirmed that “Julian is committed to SC as long as they do what they said they were going to do.” Lewis will be committed to USC till Lincoln Riley is the head coach there.

However, the talks of Coach Riley considering a head coaching position in the Cowboys are swirling. Hence, Lewis is also considering Colorado. Not to mention how badly the Buffs Nation has gone gaga after him, even launching a burger to honor him. While Lewis loved the burger, his say on whether it will be Colorado or USC will only put an end to the fans’ hunger for an answer.
