Decade After Parting Ways with Coach Prime, Pilar Sanders’ Obvious Love Keeps the Flame of Colorado Football Alive

Pilar Sanders, ex-wife of NFL Hall of Famer, Deion Sanders shares her love for the Colorado Buffaloes. The 48-year-old actress has been a staunch supporter of both her sons, Sheduer and Shilo as well. She parted ways from the 2-time Super Bowl winner in 2013 after a decade and ended the relationship on a turbulent note.

Deion Sanders, currently the head coach for the Colorado Buffaloes, has had an interesting dating timeline. Pilar was his second wife after his first marriage with Carolyn Chambers ended in 1998. Currently, Sanders seems to be fully focused on the field after his team suffered a tremendous defeat at the hands of the Oregon Ducks. Even with the poor performance, Pilar hasn’t stopped supporting her sons on her Instagram account.

On 27 September 2023, Pilar took to Instagram and shared a post that showed amazing records for the Colorado Buffaloes. The post said that currently, the Buffs rank top ten in the PAC in solo tackles mentioning their top players like Shilo Sanders, Juwan Mitchell, Marvin Ham, Trevor Woods, Camron Silmon-Craig, and Omarion Cooper. Furthermore, the post also mentions how no other team in the NCAA has more than two.

Shilo Sanders has been performing consistently for the team throughout this season just like his younger brother Shedeur. Coach Prime has proved that he’s more than just a celebrity coach and has responded to the haters through his sons’ and teams’ performances. All the while, Pilar has continued to support both the brothers’ matches and the team as well. She does so even while being on negative terms with Deion Sanders.

Pilar will be turning 49 on October 10th and currently is not involved with a partner yet. Though the actress hasn’t confirmed any dating speculations, she was last partnered with J Prince, CEO of Rap-a-Lot Records. The duo was rumored to be engaged when fans saw a massive diamond ring on Pilar’s finger but she openly denied the speculations.

Whereas Deion has been involved with Tracey Edmonds since 2012, a year before his divorce from Pilar. The couple got engaged in 2019 and have been on the precipice of marriage for a while now. The relationship between him and Pilar ended on a violent note as they were previously involved in a legal custody battle with each other. Ultimately, Pilar received the full custody of the two children with Deion being awarded supervised visits.
