On Wednesday, the NCAA released its annual GSR and Federal Graduation Rate (FGR) reports for all NCAA Division I institutions. Michigan tied its school record for Graduation Success Rate (GSR) with 96% being its average 4-year GSR rate. The numbers were the same in their last report as well, their all-time record high, which the university excelled in keeping constant.

The 96% mark is a milestone in Michigan University’s progress throughout the years. In 2010, it was 81%, whereas in 2021, it was 95%. Among the Big Ten Conference institutions, Michigan ranked second with a GSR of  96% and a FGR of 83 scores, behind Northwestern University, which topped the chart. All these numbers are also credited to the diverse varsity programs of Michigan University, right from basketball, golf, gymnastics, and more, along with arguably the most popular one, football.
