Deion Sanders, the coach for the Colorado Buffaloes, has a strong opinion of his new offensive coordinator, Pat Shurmur. The 56-year-old NFL Hall of Famer has been in the NCAA headlines since his debut with the Buffs this year. Recently, he was in the eye of controversy when he demoted Sean Lewis quite abruptly mid-season.
After a lot of public speculation, it was finally announced that Pat Shurmur, the former OC for the Denver Broncos, will be replacing Lewis. This decision wasn’t met with open arms, and Shurmur would have to prove himself in today’s match against Arizona. Fortunately for the fans, Shurmur didn’t disappoint, as the Colorado team only lost by 3 points. Coach Prime took to the post-match conference to discuss the significance of his new OC and the effect he had on the game.
