Things are heating up between Coach Prime’s Buffs and Mike Norvell’s Colorado State. It’s more than just a football rivalry now, as Norvell’s family and Rams fans get too much involved.

Off late, former Buffs star Matt McChesney has been going all out against the Rams. He’s fired up after the Norvell family took some shots at Deion Sanders & Co., making brutal remarks about them. With CSU fans demanding an apology, he is not ready to hold back.

He gave his version of the apology on his July 26 Zero 2 Sixty podcast. He said, “This is what I don’t understand about CSU people, okay. Why do I need to be nice to you? Like you’re surprised that I don’t like you and I’m talking sh*t and I mean it like I’m dead serious.” Then, McChesney doubled down on his stance, adding, “And if some f***ing miracle happen you guys win, I’ll take my lumps and eat crow and yada yada. But that sh*t ain’t happening.

The tension between the two schools escalated last year when Norvell took a shot at Deion Sanders, saying, “When he talk to grown-ups, he takes his hat and glass off.” But Sanders didn’t appreciate the comment, and the rivalry intensified. The Buffs won a thrilling overtime game against the Rams with a 43-35, fueling the fire.

McChesney believes history will repeat itself this year, too. He finished his rant with a final, brutal shot: “I’m right man, here’s my apology – you can wish in one hand and sh*t in the other one and see which one fills up faster dawg….f**k CSU, go Buffs.” And this brutal apology note comes just two days after his similar unfiltered thoughts on the CSU fam!

Coach Prime must prove his worth amidst the trash talks

It seems like the drama between Norvell and Coach Prime will never end. Jay Norvell is at it again, taking shots at Deion Sanders. When asked about his thoughts on Deion, Norvell said, “I don’t have any feeling for Deion Sanders… I don’t think about Deion Sanders unless you guys ask me a question about him.”

But it’s not just Norvell. His family is getting involved, too. Last year, his wife, Kim, took a shot, saying, “Shedeur acted like a B,” pointing at the Buffs quarterback’s iconic wristwatch move after their win. And now, even their son, Jaden, has weighed in on the EA Sports player ratings, saying their defensive back, Henry Blackburn, deserves a higher rating than Travis Hunter because of the big hit he landed against the two-way star.

But Matt McChesney isn’t happy about the Norvell family’s behavior. He said, “Maybe Jay Norvell doesn’t understand that not only has he taken a very personal game from people of Colorado, but now he’s escalated to make it personal with Coach Prime.” He also called out the rest of the family, adding, “Jay Norvell’s son taking s**t, wife won’t shut the fuck up. Everybody in the Norvell family has been involved.” Now, with all this back and forth, the September 14 game between them will surely be even more intense.
