Deion Sanders has gained a reputation for carrying a sense of bravado and toughness in his character. He also revealed on Coach Prime- his documentary series the one surgery that he had that cracked his eye socket. The news emerged from one of the game’s most celebrated players and sent shockwaves among the fandom.

We could see Sanders sharing the same with his players in the Buffs’ squad as he gave a pep talk. It starts off as a regular Coach Prime speech but soon gathers steam as he gets personal about his injuries.

The Coach Prime season 2 is here on Amazon Prime and there are certain insights revealed by the former player turn HC on the show. Amongst these was one of the most challenging injuries copped by the stellar personality. “The worst one probably, I cracked my eye socket in a playoff game. I had a sweep, a reverse jet, jet to the left, playing against Carolina, and they pinned my arm, and my head to the ground! Corner of my face mask hit my eye, and I couldn’t see.”

The 10X Pro-Bowler outlined one of the most gruesome injuries of his career. The 2X SB champion also shared that never before had he been taken off the field for injuries. But during that time in his career, when pinned against the ground, Sanders unfortunately had to be booted off the ground. Now, several years later, as he leads the Buffs for another season in the coaching capacity, is there any possibility of Prime Time returning to the NFL? As per Chad Johnson, there might be a slight of plans.

Chad Johnson gives a potent reason for Deion Sanders to take up an NFL coaching role

Deion Sanders signed a lifetime contract with the Buffs, putting a rest on moving to the NFL for coaching duties. However, as per the former player Chad Johnson, there might still be a plan change. Johnson and Sanders joined forces in the “Nightcap” episode, wherein Johnson pointed out a yesteryear video released by Sanders.

Back in 1994, Deion Sanders released a song video titled- “Must Be the Money!” and was reminded of the same by Johnson. The ex-player said- “I don’t believe that. Prime, listen to me, stay with me baby. You are the very person who had a song called ‘Must Be The Money’. And if they show you that money over at LA, guess where we gonna be at.” Sanders, however, stood firmly with his decision and shared a brutal fact to continue to coach the college players and develop the next set of stalwarts.
