Although it’s way too early for the season, the dissecting of the teams for the National Championship has started swirling in the air already. Analysts are chipping in their two cents on which team will dominate the charts this season. The classic Georgia Bulldogs have once again smitten the point of view, with the team expected to top the SEC charts, if not the National Championship charts this season.

John Rowe of DawgsHC has this strong belief that Kirby Smart already has the only motivation he needs to guide Carson Beck and Co. straight to the National Championship this season. The reason? “This year for Georgia there’s no fighting complacency,” JD Pickell said, reporting Rowe’s words. The Georgia Bulldogs were the original dominators of the CFB in the 2021 and 2022 seasons, winning a National Championship for two years consecutively. While they might have taken the underdog form with their 8-5 record in the 2023 season, this time Kirby Smart is expected to bounce back, mainly to rein on the top of college football again.

“Georgia is not coming off the Mountaintop in 2024. Georgia is finding a way to get back to the top of the SEC and finding a way to get back on top of the college football world. The fact that there’s not that complacency built in, Jake Rowe said it’s perfect. That’s like organic fertilizer to make this whole thing grow,” JD Pickell admitted on On3.

Kirby Smart has recently got his hands on a very lucrative $130 million contract running for the next 10 years. The Bulldogs have some strong faith in Smart, which might be why they are betting big. Now that the Bulldogs have everything, the perfect head coach and the perfect chance to get to the top, let’s dissect their roster, especially their QB Carson Beck.

Is Carson Beck’s dynamism a matter of concern?

While Beck is one of the top QBs CFB has right now, being touted as the top prospect for the 2024 Heisman trophy and a top 10 pick in the 2025 NFL draft class, his dynamism is where the analysts are hesitating. On3 analyst Cody Bellaire has his reservations about Beck leading the Bulldogs’ offensive line effectively.

On his episode that aired on May 11, Bellaire expressed his concern with Beck’s consistency, saying, “Maybe Carson Beck is not dynamic enough to carry the offense on his back for the entire season.” He further added, “Maybе thеy slip up and losе to Alabama wееk four, maybе thеy go into Austin facе nеw SEC foе in Tеxas in wееk sеvеn that could go еithеr way.”

The wariness against Beck is emerging out of his performance in the 2023 season, also the season when he took up the role of a starting QB. The offense seemed much less explosive last season. Will Beck be able to bring that explosive dynamism back into the game? Drop your thoughts in the comments.
