Colorado’s Win Takes a Backseat as Shelomi Sanders Chooses Power Ball Jackpot Brother Over Father Coach Prime

Deion Sanders, the coach for the Colorado Buffaloes, is part of a very talented Sanders household. The 56-year-old coach has been making the news ever since he signed with the Buffs on a 5-year contract. While his initial appearance was doubted by many, he sure proved the haters wrong through his sheer will embodied in his team’s performance.

Coach Prime, as fans like to call him, led the Buffs to a 3-0 consecutive win at the start of the season. This set the precedent that he is not here to mess around and will do his best to win the championship in his debut season as a coach. While he guided the team brilliantly in the team’s match against the Arizona State Sun Devils, his daughter seemed to be showing love and support for a different family member.

Deion Sanders’ daughter supports Shedeur instead of him

On the 8th of October, 2023, Shelomi Sanders, the daughter of Deion, took to Instagram and posted a picture with Shedeur and captioned it, “he’s backkkkkkk 🤭.” This made the fans speculate as to why she didn’t post any pictures to support her father and maybe it’s just a different type of sibling love that Shedeur and Shelomi share.

Deion Sanders’ ex-wife, Pilar Sanders, though controversial, makes sure to voice her support for both her sons consistently. She recently commented on Shedeur’s reel when he went towards the Arizona fans and flexed his $70,000 watch. She wrote, “My baby DROP IT ALLLLLLL ON EM BABEEEEEEEEW YEAHHHHH #perfecttimin #SS2legendary #proudmom”  While this incident is definitely meant in good humor, Coach Prime’s family hasn’t been all sunshine and rainbows.

Coach Prime and Pilar Sanders’ turbulent relationship

The couple were an on-and-off couple since 1999, a year after Deion’s divorce from his first wife, Carolyn Chambers. Their relationship was a complicated one, with both seeing the extremes of highs and lows. With many toxicities constantly surfacing, the pair decided to call it quits in the year of 2013. Even though they got separated, the both of them were engaged in a very heated legal battle over the custody of their children.

Though initially, Chambers got the custody of Shedeur and Shilo, upon further probing into the custody battle, Deion was ultimately given the custody with Chambers receiving visitation rights. Thus, it’s conclusive to say that the heavy relationship must’ve taken a toll on the children in the family. But with all said and done, today the family is as strong as ever as Pilar keeps voicing her support for her children and father Coach Prime continues to strive for the best of his team.
