Is Colorado's bold 2024 vision under Coach Prime setting them up for success or disappointment?

Everyone’s all set for the 2024 season. The excitement to see the Buffaloes run wild on the field again is quite visible. Devoted fans like Laura Levy are even getting TVs worth $280K+, now that’s pure love and dedication. As the players get ready for their clash against North Dakota on August 30th, Uncle Neely decided to drop a visit to the Buffs camp to get a feel of the situation.

Inside the Buffs camp, Coach James Chaney and Uncle Neely had an insightful interaction that was caught on tape and uploaded by Thee Pregame Show Network on July 9th. When asked, “Day one, what’s yo thoughts man?” Chaney responded, “Time to get the party started man. Feeling like a whole new energy here, whole new type of guy. Guys rubbing off on each other, feeling like we a little tighter. I’m looking forward to this undefeated National Championship run.” Looks like Chaney is all set with the boys to grab an undefeated National Championship run. Now that’s quite a statement.

Neely echoed this sentiment with, “Yeah we coming,” to which Chaney had a weird reply. Now, we all know Coach Prime’s signature statement, something he has been saying out loud ever since he joined as the HC for the Buffs. “We Coming” was what Deion had told the world when he was hired. Coming back to Chaney’s reply, well, he had quite the take on the classic mantra. “We ain’t coming, we already here,” he replied to Neely. This right here proves his faith regarding the team and how they will perform in the upcoming season. Furthermore, the star players of the show, Travis and Shedeur, are also all set.

In a different discussion on Thee Pregame Show Network on 29th June, Tolly Carr and Uncle Neely went into details regarding Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders, the star players of CU. “They’re getting better, and it’s noticeable changes that you can see in arm, in accuracy, in muscle,” Carr had mentioned. This brings out a very important fact. Both Hunter and Sanders are taking the upcoming season very seriously. Neely further added to this,  “If you want to be in contention for the Heisman race, you got to win more than four games this year.” His statement brings further clarity. Both Travis and Shedeur need to keep their focus on winning games more than anything else.

The progress both QBs have made during their training for the upcoming season is quite visible. “[He was] already passing with 75, 80%, and that’s gone up,” Uncle Neely had revealed regarding Shedeur and his arm strength. This can be considered significant progress. On the other end, Travis Hunter has decided to gain 17 pounds. “Travis has put on 17 pounds of muscle. He’s faster, leaner-looking, but bigger-looking,” Neely added. It feels like Chaney’s statement of “undefeated National Championship run” could come true. As August knocks on the door, fans should get all prepared for the Buffaloes cause they are “already here” and ready to rumble.
