Is the criticism against Deion Sanders justified, or is it just jealousy of his success?

Another Deion Sanders die-hard in the house! The latest recruit of Colorado, Alex Graham, is not about to hear anyone talk ill about his new head coach Deion Sanders, be it their disastrous 4-8 record or the off-field controversies. The four-star safety from IMG Academy (Florida) is looking for the perfect chance to shut all the ones hating on Deion Sanders and the Buffs. He is sure they’ll make that happen this season.

Speaking to Rivals reporter John Garcia Jr., the Buffs recruit was confident that he would silence the crowd. “Just wait til I get there, we gone show yall,” Graham said laughing, although the underlying confident warning was loud and clear. “Colorado gets a lot of hate,” the four-star safety said, mentioning that he ‘sees something about Coach Prime every day’.

It is not just the confidence that Graham said the words that are making the fans swallow their spiteful words back. It is the passion Graham holds for the Buffs’ program. The 6’1, 186-pounder safety chose Colorado from the 30 programs chasing him, including some top seeds like Georgia, Michigan, Penn State, Alabama, and Oregon. Graham made up his mind after visiting Deion Sanders and Co. in Boulder twice this year.

If all of this is not enough to cement the 2025 commit, 247 Sports ranked him as the 23rd best player in Florida. However, the recruitment of Graham rings some not-so-distant bells in the Buffs Nation. Did you guess it?

Alex Graham follows in the footsteps of the senior.

It was not too long ago that Colorado recruited another O-line prospect from the IMG academy, who, upon his arrival, confidently announced him being a formidable force in the Buffs roster. He proved it swiftly with just one on-field performance during the spring game by making proper use of his beastly physique, leaving his imprint as a threat to the opponents. His growing bond with Deion Sanders and Co. is a testament enough of it. Till now, we know you have guessed him. Yes, we are talking about Jordan Seaton.

What’s your perspective on:

Is the criticism against Deion Sanders justified, or is it just jealousy of his success?

Have an interesting take?

Now that Seaton is already preparing to shut the detractors up, he and the O-line will have Graham’s powerful addition in 2025. It will be crucial for Deion Sanders and Co. since several star players like Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter would be leaving for the NFL.

To top all of this off, Graham comes in with a background and strengths of being a multi-sport athlete. The agility and athleticism that he would have honed from that would be put to perfect use on the gridiron in the Buffs. So, Deion Sanders’ detractors, get ready! Alex Graham is coming for you.
