In week 2 of the 2024 season, Deion Sanders will be facing Colorado’s old rivals. Coach Prime, after taking charge of the Buffaloes, revamped its roster, strategies, and on-field prowess. Despite having a complete package of skillset, the Buffaloes possess a challenge in the game against the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Nebraska’s freshman quarterback is known for his playing style which is similar to Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes

The Buffs’ defense is strong, but the question arises, will it be able to neutralize Nebraska’s quarterback? In the matchup held against Nebraska in the previous season, the Buffaloes secured a victory with a scoreline of 36-14, but this time Nebraska has more depth in their offensive line.

Sharing his thoughts on the rivalry, the host said, “That’s a pretty big game altogether because it’s a rivalry game everyone knows that Colorado and Nebraska hate each other.” He added, “Nebraska has the number one overall ranked or the number one overall quarterback, um in this past recruiting class. Dylan Raiola, he’s expected to be all that in a bag of chips he’s expected to kind of be the next Mahomes or kind of emulate him. He wears the number, he throws sidearm, he throws underhand, he throws everything that he does emulates Patrick Mahomes.”
