The Colorado Buffaloes are going to hit the field this season with a brand-new look! The anticipated news of Coach Prime re-releasing his signature Diamond Turf line with Nike has already reached the ears of many. But what about the brand-new Nike uniforms? It remains a teaser and it’s only through the Buffs DE that we’re able to even get a hint of what’s coming.
Arden Walker revealed an interesting aspect for the Buffs fans to anticipate. He recently appeared on DNVR and enticed everyone with a uniform teaser and said, “They’re sweet I’m not gonna lie.” Walker admitted he got a peek in the Buffs locker room last week and according to him, it’s “different” and “creative.”
Arden grew up seeing the same uniforms over the years and is the only legacy on CU’s roster coming from Cherry Creek HS. His father, Art Walker, was on CU’s 1989 Orange Bowl team and was part of the Texas Pipeline for Bill McCartney.

It was the first major change in over three decades. Many have speculated what designs might be incorporated next season. If they’re inspired by the Diamond Turf 3 shoes, this could be one of the best uniforms in college athletics and rival what Oregon has been given over the past decade. Sanders pushed to have more metallic accents in Colorado’s jerseys last year, which was an absolute hit with the young, fly, and flashy crowd.

Deion Sanders’ connection with Nike is well-known and now he’s bringing it to Boulder for his players to sport this major brand. Many fans are speculating that the new uniforms are going to be inspired by his DT3 shoes. After all, Coach Prime did say that the uniforms are going to be “phenomenal” and that they will “match the shoes.” The new uniform may hold the spot as the best college football uniform design that might beat Oregon’s latest style.

For a coach who’s as fashionable as Coach Prime, his players should look equally dazzling! Right from the beginning of his role in Boulder, he already had plans for Jersey combos for the Buffs. If you were to dive deeper into his thoughts, you might as well take a look at the uniform combination back at his former program Jackson State. They have no shortage of Jersey combos.

Let’s not forget Deion Sanders’ popular quote, “If you look good, you feel good. If you feel good, you play good. If you play good, they pay good.” Ultimately, everything boils down to being confident in oneself. And it’s already clear from the excitement that the new uniforms are on a whole other standard, making it another aspect to look forward to seeing the Buffs hitting the field this season.
