Shilo Sanders has now chosen to move indoors. With the spring practice in full swing, it is time for the Colorado Buffaloes’ safety to enjoy table tennis time. But not his switch in the sport. Even though this is for recreation, Shilo has something more coming up. He put up a challenge beyond football. 

Deion Sanders’ son has a surprise for NFL fans. On his Instagram Stories, he posted a picture of a tabletop. The following caption found Shilo challenging Colorado University, which has 37,000 students. Not many expected the Buffs’ safety to excel in TT. 

Shilo’s dare for the whole of Colorado

Ahead of the Black and Gold Day, the off-season did not allow the players to catch a breath. Apart from evolving as their best form after grueling training sessions, the players hardly get time for recreation. However, Shilo has managed to get some time off for himself. But interestingly, he did not waste the time by lazing around on the sofa. Instead, he hit the table tennis game. Posting a snippet of an empty room adorned with two TT tables, Shilo wrote, “Nobody at @cuboulder Can defeat me.”  

With this post, he has put a dare for the whole university. CU Boulder is the largest of the four-campus universities, and having a student population of more than 35,000 is a daring task. The university, being well known for showcasing talent primarily in football and basketball, in this case table tennis, took the students by surprise. Meanwhile, like indoor games, Shilo will also be a challenge for his opponents in the outdoors.

Multi-talented sides of Shilo

During their recent practice, Shilo caught the attention of Coach Neely. The CEO of the Headache Gang has emerged as a dominant force in Colorado’s spring practice. A video has gone viral showing Shilo swiftly tackling WR Asaad Waseem to the ground. The Buffaloes’ safety has mesmerized his team members with his perfect blend of power and athleticism.

Shilo’s off-season has been jam-packed with various activities. Beyond playing table tennis and hitting the field for physical training sessions, Deion Sanders’ son has excelled in other endeavors. Shilo tried his luck in modeling as well. In the wild, posing in cargo pants and an abstract print hoodie, the player found his ultimate love amidst the wilderness. He ensured he would share some of his new outdoor exploits with the NFL fans. Sharing one such picture on his Instagram profile with the caption, “Man vs. Wild,” left fans speculating about Shilo collaborating with the famous Bear Grylls.

Being Coach Prime’s son and having a quarterback brother, Shedeur, Shilo is always under the watchful eyes of critics. He is subjected to high standards of expectations, amidst which he ensures that he channels his love for other sports and endeavors that make him different from others.
