Shedeur Sanders, QB for the Colorado Buffaloes, will compete against Caleb Williams, QB for the USC Trojans for the ultimate glory. Sanders, the 21-year-old athlete has been performing exceptionally well this season. He helped lead the Buffaloes to a 3-consecutive win before losing to the Oregon Ducks this past Sunday.

Whereas Caleb Williams has 4-consecutive wins with the Trojans as he continues to dominate the NCAA teams’ offense. Although he only scored 5 touchdowns in the game against Arizona State, he continues to be a fan favorite in the league and eventually, the Heisman trophy. Phenomenally enough, he has already won the Heisman trophy once and is pushing hard for his second win, which will make him only the second player in history to do so.

The match against the Buffaloes and the Trojans will take place on 30th September, 2o23 and the fans couldn’t be more excited to see how the two stars lock horns. This match will be the key to answering the question- who is the better player to win the trophy?

Shedeur Sanders v/s Caleb Williams: A Rivalry for the Ages

Both the players have been fantastic this season no doubt, but only one can conquer the peak of the year. The Heisman Trophy is awarded annually to the best player in the NCAA and with the current stats, it is difficult to predict if it’ll belong to Williams or Sanders. Though the odds are stacked against Sanders as he stands on the 9th rank against Williams’ no.1, he still has a lot more games to go to prove himself.

Though Willimas was leading the pack earlier, his odds dropped when he didn’t perform as well against the Arizona State Sun Devils. His odds dropped from 15/4 to 17/4 and thus, he has lost his top spot. But just like Sanders’ case, he has a lot more games to ensure he’s back to the top again and stays there with consistency and hard work. With all said and done, the fans can’t wait to see how the QBs perform this Sunday.

Sanders plays with a lot of expectations on his shoulders as he is the son of NFL Hall of Famer, Deion Sanders, who also happens to be the coach of the Colorado Buffaloes. He has proven himself worthy of the Sanders name by consistently performing for the team and leading them to victories. The question is-will his best be enough to take home the trophy and conquer Williams? The NCAA season has never been this exciting and it’s only just begun.
