Deiondra Sanders is months away from motherhood! With a history of medical complications coupled with multiple doctors saying otherwise, Deiondra was able to not only sustain a healthy pregnancy but sail through her first trimester. However, the road to motherhood is not a bed of roses and there are considerable hiccups on the way which includes ritualistic “morning sickness,” and uncalled-for “allergies.” 

Deion Sanders is set to embrace a new role as a grandfather, marking another milestone in his illustrious journey. The pregnancy announcement came through an Instagram post by his 31-year-old daughter, revealing her pregnancy with partner Jacquees.

Deiondra details out pregnancy discomfort 

On her recent Instagram story, Deiondra shared a picture of herself bearing the caption, “My allergies have been on 10 lately.” She recently answered a few pregnancy-related questions on her YouTube channel where she talks about the issues she deals with while being pregnant. She expressed that she did not have nausea during the morning, but instead felt it during the night after having a heavy meal. She humorously referred to it as “nighttime sickness,” which lasted her through her first trimester. She would have to resort to ginger shots and ginger lollipops to keep it at bay. 

Deiondra is steering clear of at-home water births and makes it clear that she will be having a C-section at the hospital. Even though everyone seems to be excited and looking forward to the baby, there has been much speculation about the relationship between Deiondra and Jacquees. So much so that she mentioned that she was not having the baby to “keep a man.” Father, Deion Sanders had an apt comeback to support her daughter’s cause.

In her pregnancy reveal post on Instagram Deiondra makes it clear that she was not having her baby to hold onto a relationship; rather, she sees this as a testament to her resilience and determination. “I’m not having my baby to keep a man. I am having my baby for all the times I was told I wouldn’t be able to,” she wrote. Father Deion Sanders commented, “You’ve always had a MAN in your life that u call DADDY & ain’t gon ever let u DOWN especially when I’m UP.” Coach Prime’s support safeguards her daughter’s decision to keep the baby amidst infidelity rumors.

Her relationship with her partner Jacquees came under public scrutiny after a series of leaked messages between the singer and his ex-Dreezy surfaced. Jacquees allegedly was asking Dreezy to take him back while Deiondra was expecting a child with him. The couple was able to reconcile, but it did not stop Deion Sanders from stepping in to sound his support for her daughter. Deiondra has been able to overcome all the challenges, including multiple myomectomy surgeries, struggles with birth control, and the uncertainty of high-risk pregnancy.
