Deion Sander’s side started off the season with a hattrick of wins and sadly failed to keep up with their A-game. The Buffaloes team crumbled several times under pressure and is now completely out of the playoff contention. Jason Whitlock, who’s garnered an image for being the HC’s hater took to X to give an earful. In what seems like two solid replies to Sanders’ fans, Whitlock made it clear that the side was competing for the last spot. He pointed out that “Coach Prime’s failure will not matter”

Jason Whitlock further highlighted that getting only 4 wins wasn’t something to be cheerful about. He aims to burst the Colorado’s bubble and show them the truth. However, his venting and criticism come with sharp words that might rub the wrong people. While the obvious disappointment is clear, Whitlock just disregards Prime Time of what he achieved as a coach. For Deion Sanders, there’s a $76 million opportunity waiting in the wings.

He might be the ideal candidate to replace the axed Fisher. While the chatter has grown over the past few hours, Stephen A. Smith also echoes the same sentiments. Speaking on ESPN’s GetUp, Smith stated-“Deion Sanders in the SEC. With that vault that they have available to them. Them hogs that he could recruit. He doesn’t have them at Colorado, and he ain’t going to get them. I don’t think they’ll do it. Texas A&M, Primetime, Deion Sanders in the SEC? That needs to happen.” Will Deion take the role? It’s a tough decision given Sanders’ loyalty to the Buffaloes.
