Deiondra Sanders believes Shedeur will outshine Jordan Love—do you agree with her bold prediction?

No.1 QB ain’t an insignificant moniker. Shedeur Sanders, despite being one of the most-sacked quarterbacks in the 2023 season, still ranks as one of the top preferences when you list the best QBs in college football. He’s got accuracy and arm strength, but he lacked the ability to survive in the pocket. Deion Sanders ensured this problem didn’t happen again this year with a revamped O-line. Other than Coach Prime, Shedeur has one more pillar of support, who was seen hyping her brother’s name on X.

On July 27, Adam Schefter posted on X and shared some interesting insights regarding quarterback Jordan Love’s recent contract and signing with the Green Bay Packers. “Jordan Love and the Packers have agreed to a 4-year $220M contract,” Schefter mentioned. This makes Love one of the highest-paid QBs in NFL history. Not only that, but he also got a $75M signing bonus plus $155M in new full guarantees. Now, that’s a fillip!

Amidst all this, Deiondra Sanders took to X to hype up her brother. “That’s gone be Shedeur one day and all y’all gone feel it,” Deiondra mentioned in her post on X. Daniel Jeremiah put it perfectly in his scouting report. “He has excellent balance and weight transfer upon release, possessing plenty of arm strength to drive the ball downfield,” Daniel mentioned. Shedeur has impressive timing and is solid at adapting a proper pace for each throw. Not only that, his toughness is also another quality that opponents often tend to underestimate.

Shedeur had an impressive 2023 season, throwing for 3,230 yards, 27 touchdowns, and only 3 interceptions. He maintained a completion rate of over 69%. His ability to perform under pressure has caught the attention of experts, with Skip Bayless declaring on Undisputed that Sanders is the best quarterback in the Big 12 and potentially the best in the entire country. The analyst even suggests that Sanders could be the No. 1 overall pick in next year’s NFL draft.

Moreover, a leading analyst has considered Shedeur a potential replacement for the legendary Aaron Rodgers in the 2025 NFL Draft. Shedeur’s powerful arm, exceptional accuracy, and leadership skills make him an enticing choice for the Jets’ team. With all this speculation, his family is supportive.

No wonder Deiondra is already out here singing praise for her brother. The 2024 season is already looking solid for the Buffs. The team is all set with better linebackers, and both Shedeur and Travis Hunter are showing drastic improvements in accuracy and ball handling. As Shilo Sanders said, “We definitely have a better chance of winning this year than last year. More guys are hungry to go to the league.” However, fans might be slightly more excited about which team Shedeur Sanders could be heading after his Buffs era.

On July 22, Ian Cummings created a mock draft list for the Pro Football Network. Cummings thinks Shedeur Sanders would be the perfect pick for the New York Jets. However, this probably won’t be happening. Jordan Reid had the ideal projection. “Sanders is a smooth operator whose game centers around his great ball placement,” Reid mentioned as he put Shedeur for the Raiders.

This pairing works perfectly because Deion Sanders and Antonio Pierce (HC for Raiders) have a close connection. Back during Big 12 Media Days, Deion had gone on to defend AP from all the backlash he had received after Cody Benjamin ranked Pierce at 28 on the list of Top NFL HCs and then claimed that Pierce was “a true unknown.” Deion Sanders has also been open about the idea that his kids would love to play for Pierce. “It’s not a mistake that my kids would love to play for him,” Coach Prime had said. Only time will tell where Shedeur finally ends up in the 2025 NFL drafts.
