To the man who inspired a generation of athletes, a very happy birthday, and may we have more decades of opportunities to wish him again. A Hall of Famer NFL DL turned head coach who is the face of the Colorado Buffaloes, celebrates his 57th birthday today. Cheers to the man, the myth, and the legend all in one, Deion Sanders!

His words and advice resonate with the millions of followers he has, and all of them are joining hands to wish a happy birthday to their idol, as the Colorado football staff wishes Deion with them.

All over the football community, the name of Deion Sanders is trending today on account of his birthday and yet, the coach has no thoughts about himself but rather the divine spirit to remember today. Deion Sanders has always been a devout Christian and has spread the message of God through all his messages, and the milestone of being 57 years old will be no different. Deion took to X to share his thoughts on life and peace today, something which resounded the serenity that he’s chosen to immerse himself with.
On 9th August, Deion took to X to share a tweet that mentioned neither the word “happy” nor “birthday” but instead a reminder to his fans to let god take the reins of their lives. He wrote, “Peace is a destination & Life is a journey. How do we arrive at this destination while we’re on this journey. We must let go & let GOD be GOD. Allow God to drive, work, lead, speak, direct & vacuum your life. Now watch how quickly u arrive at your destination. #CoachPrime” This is exactly what Coach Prime is about and the sort of legacy he wants to be remembered by, making sure his followers learn an important teaching today rather than see him celebrate his own birthday with great pomp.
