Do you believe Shedeur Sanders' throw was edited, or are critics just trying to undermine his talent?

Oh-ho! The Colorado Buffaloes have stumbled into another pickle. And what’s the hoopla all about? This time it’s a video that went viral over social media where the Buffs QB Shedeur Sanders is spotted coming up with a spectacular throw to WR LaJohntay Wester. However, it had the haters rolling their eyes. But what for? One of the biggest critiques of the Sanders fam and the Buffs, Coach Jason Brown, labeled it as “edited.”

This is what gained an in-depth discussion on The Coach JB Show with Big Smatty podcast as co-host Bailey Price came up with the debate. Shedeur seems to be an easy target for Coach Brown, who also tore apart the Buffs QB after his Super Bowl claim.

Video trickery or genuine talent, Shedeur’s TD pass under scrutiny

All this started on Tuesday, August 6, when the Buffs posted a video of Shedeur throwing a touchdown pass to WR Wester during their preseason fall camp on X with the caption that read, “Darts only.” However, what raised eyebrows of the internet troll patrol? It was the jarring cut view behind Sanders to Wester holding the ball. To them, it appeared to be two different videos meshed into one. And this was enough for the podcast to take up. The guest on the show Price dropped the bomb, “He [Brown] thought it was edited as in social media they had a quite a heyday.”

The debate goes like the Buffs have played some cheap tricks to possibly edit the part where Shedeur was spotted throwing a bad pass. However, Brown did not just strip Shedeur and the program instantly. Instead, on the podcast he was seen throwing the Buffs alum, Matt McChesney, an open challenge, “The argument with Bailey I had was where’s the endzone copy?” The video cleverly starts from Shedeur’s perspective, seamlessly shifting to the receiver as he secures the catch in the end zone. This transition is what became the target of Brown’s keen observation. However, this isn’t Brown’s debut in the Shedeur-bashing league.

Shedeur faces heat from Coach JB

One appearance at the Big 12 Media Days and Shedeur was in hot water! When the Buffs QB faced the question of having any obligation this season since he is in the spotlight, he came up with a no-beating-around-the-bush reply, “I already know what the expectation comes with. I know we’re everybody’s Super Bowl.” And Coach JB could not just resist himself from landing an attack on Deion’s son.

Have an interesting take?

The critique came up with a reality check to burst Shedeur’s bubbles on the July 13th episode of The Coach JB Show with Big Smitty. He then took a shot, counter-attacking his Super Bowl aspirations. “You’re not everybody’s Super Bowl, bro. You’re not.” It’s now that the critic tabs at Colorado for resorting to editing skills to show what Shedeur is not. Earlier, it was the same person who held the Buffs HC at the edge labeling his coaching as “marketing.”

Brown clapped back at Deion Sanders’ online antics, “Colorado, Deion filming everything, putting it out there, blinging, checking diamonds….what do you think about it?” Now that Shedeur’s caught in a digital disaster, will it fumble his NFL dreams? Do share your thoughts!
