Sure enough, Deion Sanders streamlined a good income from establishing himself online as Coach Prime, thanks to his son Deion Sanders Jr. But he didn’t stop there. Sanders, being a true businessman at his core, along with being a head coach, had to do something to load up the financial stacks at CU.
He did it rampantly. Multimedia rights were one part where Deion Sanders won the income game with a 51% jump in revenue as compared with the previous fiscal year. In 2021-22, the Buffs made $2.9 million, whereas, in the next year, Deion Sanders drove the number to $4.6 million, thanks to the various sponsorships, radio advertisements, digital signage, and other financial opportunities he endorsed.

Learfield, the behind-the-scenes manager of multimedia rights (MMR) at CU, released a report stating that the MMR rights at CU will make a huge leap of $2.8 million in 2024 as compared to 2023, setting expectations straight.
