Shilo Sanders is on a roll, rather on a roller coaster, for making quirky comments. Be it trolling Prime or just retorting hilarious comebacks, the internet bursts with laughter when Shilo Sanders’s comments are in question. Shilo might have mastered the art of retiliation but the same can be arguable when it’s about his skills with the ball. Sure enough, Sanders knows his ball since he recorded 39 tackles (28 solo) with 1.5 tackles for loss with 4 interceptions for the 2023 season. But it’s the perfection of skills that Coach Prime is chasing for his son.

So, Deion Sanders let him wade through the 2023 season without pulling the silent disappointment face. The result was Shilo getting ejected for targetting in their showdown against UCLA and the 4-8 record tagging beside the Buffs. Now, redemption is the only thing on their minds for the next season for which Coach Prime has laid down his expectations from Shilo clear as day.

Deion Sanders is not joking around

“Shilo, get out,” was the only call Deion Sanders needed to make at the Folsom Field to assert his mindset for the following season. His safety son Shilo’s lousy drills presented him with the perfect opportunity to make his motto for the next season clear: he’s not compromising on perfection. By kicking out his son, who was not doing his drills perfectly, Deion Sanders echoes a clear message throughout the CU: Sanders is not bending the rules for anyone, even if it is his son. The way Sanders delivered his message for the upcoming season was a Prime way for other Buffs players to beware.

Deion Sanders and Co. are expecting nothing less than perfection out of the Buffs players, the fresh recruits, or the experienced know-it-alls. With this, Deion Sanders played a master stroke. Not only did he shut down all the critics hurling nepotism allegations at him for coddling his kids, but he also shot a no-nonsense notice to Shilo Sanders to get ahead of his erratic comebacks and focus on the game. However, Prime being Prime, explained this to Shilo in a language he would perfectly understand.

“Hey, remember dad kicked me out of scrimmage on top for talking too much,” Shilo Sanders said on Well Off Media’s video, highlighting Deion Sanders’ being extra hard on everyone out loud. Well, Prime had other ways of asserting his mindset: beating his son at his own game.

Coach Prime was quipped with a smarter retort to his son’s comment. “Why you talking? You’re an old-school guy… Both of us couldn’t talk at the same time. Me and my game,” Prime said on Well Off Media, not only flaunting his skills with the ball but also shutting his son up in a moment.
