Deion Sanders’s book tour has seen him on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and NBC’s Today Show, where he received a thoughtful gift for his pregnant daughter. The last leg of his book tour finale saw him visit the Macky Auditorium at the University of Colorado Boulder. And it was here that Coach Prime has earned an extravagant act of generosity from Zimbabwe.
The YouTube channel Reach The People Media captured every bit of his emotional book promotion tour, and the last lap has been no exception. In the latest video, Deion Sanders is seen engaging in interaction with fans at Boulder without having any hint of what was awaiting him — a staggering 100 billion Zimbabwean dollar bill. The fan about to gift him this unique present turned to the camera and said, “This is from Zimbabwe. It’s a 100 billion dollars, and I guess they have trillion dollar notes as well, but it’s a real note.”
On questioning the purpose of the note, the fan shared, “I’m going to give it to Coach Prime to pay for his parking tickets to CU. That’s why I’m giving it to Coach Prime.” Well, if you’re surprised by the 100 billion dollar bill, there is an explanation.

Due to hyperinflation, Zimbabwe had to introduce a 100 billion dollar bill, over a decade ago. The bill’s value has diminished due to inflation and is now seen as a novelty. The Zimbabwean dollar isn’t globally recognized but converting it using the current exchange rate would be $310 million USD.
Coach Prime’s new book “Elevate and Dominate: 21 Ways to Win On and Off the Field,” came out on March 12. Since then the Buffs coach has been busy promoting it across four different cities. Before his last stop in Colorado, Sanders paid a visit to The Dock Bookshop in Dallas March 16.
Earlier he visited the Barnes and Noble Cumberland, Atlanta, where a massive crowd was gathered to see him. Sanders’s book tour journey started in New York and it was here that he received a special gift.
