Deion Sanders is a proud father. Son Shedeur’s “small” win over Travis Hunter in front of thousands of fans was the reason behind Prime’s pride. Here’s how it went: Counting their days leading up to their final collegiate season, Shedeur and Hunter’s eagerness to play in the Colorado uniform was clear. They might need to wait a few more days to realize this until the regular season ’24 commences. For now, their safest bet was early access to EA Sports College Football 25 video game, and their Twitch livestream was their perfect chance.

Heightening the fans’ envy, Shedeur and Travis gave the fans a sneak peek into the CFB 25 game, building their anticipation for July 19, the day it is set to be released to the public. Hunter, being the cover athlete of the standard version of the game, got his hands on it before everyone else. However, little did Hunter know that the tables would turn against him. During their livestream of the game, Shedeur beat Hunter at his defensive play and ran the ball across the end zone.

With a chest puffed with pride, Sanders played his song Perfect Timing to flex his victory over Hunter during their live stream. Deion Sanders could not stop celebrating his son’s “victory,” as he posted the moment on Instagram. “Always gotta have PERFECT TIMING on standby,” Prime captioned as a proud parent.

Now, fans also want to see Prime and Co. celebrating their victory on the gridiron this season, something they’ll need to buckle up for. Prime’s “We Comin” motto is reverberating loud and clear ahead of this season in the CFB, and so is his confidence in his star players Shedeur and Hunter, but will it all give them a winning record in the end?

Deion Sanders has a favorable opinion of Shedeur and Hunter’s abilities

The challenge is right in front of Colorado. Their redemption from their previous 4-8 record and some wins are so massive that they shut up all the questions surrounding their playing skills. That’s all. The fans and analysts are not yet sold on the Buffs players having mastered it. They’ll only be when they put those skills to use on the field this season.

However, Prime has confidence in Shedeur and Hunter’s skills. For him, they come second to none. It was evident when he reacted to their EA Sports rankings. “I’m just trying to figure out how can Shedeur be tied with another person. How did that happen?” Sanders voiced out his issues with the ranking. Although Shedeur Sanders was ranked the No. 1 QB by EA Sports, it was a spot he had to share with Georgia’s Carson Beck, and clearly, it did not sit well with Prime.

Coach Prime even took a stand for Hunter, who got ranked at No. 6 and not at the top. “And how can Travis not have the highest score on the game when he’s arguably the best receiver and the best defensive back in college football? So, how can you not be the number one rated guy, period? I don’t understand that either,” Sanders said. We all know that video game numbers would mean very little regarding the real rankings. So, the real focus of Deion Sanders and Co. now should be on their A-game this season.
