But the story is still in the writing process as Colorado awaits the final decisions of these new commits. With the first day of the early signing period coming to a close, Coach Prime and the Buffs secured five players who signed their Letter of Intent with the program. Even so, fans can almost forecast a probable flip from one of the Buffs’ most valuable commits.

In his recent IG upload, Coach Prime revealed that he did an interactive session with his 15 new recruits where they discussed “everything from A-Z.” He posted the video with the caption, “Growth doesn’t only occur on the field… This is a wonderful teaching moment where we discussed the takeaways from the story of the Rich Young Ruler.”

Coach Prime used a popular Bible parable of the Rich Young Man to impart golden rules to his young college football players. In the end, his new players are confidently stating the three takeaways from the story that also applies to the football field. “Sell out, give out, come out.” That’s the only way you’re going to receive redemption and salvation which also means a breakthrough and success. 

Colorado awaits final commitments with suspense

The early signing period has begun but Colorado is yet to get their No. 1 OT commit to get the pen to paper. Jordan Seaton seems to be showing signs of indecision in his latest IG Live appearance as he discussed how he had “a lot of coaches calling.” He said about his decision, “Kind of just thinking and praying on it… Right now I don’t really have a step-for-step.

There is a strong projection that Jordan Seaton could flip to the Maryland Terrapins. If that scenario happens, Colorado would rank among the worst in the Power Five ranks in terms of 2024 class incoming freshmen. As of day one of the early signing period, No. 14 WR Drelon Miller is the highest-ranked signee.

Coach Prime’s main focus going into the 2024 season is to lead the Buffs to a bowl appearance. He has already secured five college starters and 16 transfers, with Seaton’s decision pending. Will 2024 be a good season for Colorado?
