Former Cowboys cornerback Stephon Gilmore, now a free agent, hopes to return to Dallas even after losing his starting role. Gilmore joined the Cowboys in an offseason trade with the Colts last year. With 68 tackles, 13 pass deflections, and just two interceptions, he made a strong impact on the Dallas defense. His Super Bowl-winning interception for the Patriots is considered by many an iconic moment in his career. However, Deion’s post isn’t just about praising Gilmore. It raises a bigger question — Can Jerry Jones with his star quarterback Dak Prescott get a Super Bowl win without Gilmore?

Can the Cowboys win the Super Bowl without Gilmore?

Stephon Gilmore joined the Dallas Cowboys in 2023 to play alongside star cornerback Trevon Diggs. When Diggs got hurt, Gilmore stepped in and played great all season. He even gave a solid performance through a shoulder injury against the Green Bay Packers. Now a free agent, Gilmore wants to stay in Dallas, but the Cowboys haven’t brought him back yet.
