Joe Pompliano shared an interesting insight via Twitter on Deion Sanders’ impact as Colorado’s head coach. The Joe Pomp Show host posted an issue by Sean Gregory titled “The Believer- How Deion Sanders Is Changing Football Forever.” He captioned the post, “Colorado has already seen a 40% jump in out-of-state applications since Deion Sanders took over. Those students pay $30,000 more in annual tuition than in-state students. Add in ticket sales, sponsorships, and merchandise, and Deion’s $6 million per year contract is a bargain.“
Deion Sanders’ effect on Colorado is unquestionable. Aside from the first three consecutive wins, he had to deal with two losses – a major 42-6 Oregon Ducks blowout and a 48-41 USC Trojans loss. But the Buffs quickly recovered from the 34-14 halftime deficit in the last game with USC in a spectacular manner. DaBaby said of the game, “The atmosphere is electric, man. Look, f*ck the NFL game. Right now this is the most exciting place to be in football.“

The major flex with Coach Deion Sanders is that his influence is seen not only in Colorado’s on-field performance. Deion Sanders is not someone who plays by the rules of the game. One of the most important things he emphasizes is being true to oneself, and this is what he stands by throughout his football career. Dwayne Johnson said, “In the world of college football, there is a certain expectation of how coaches should be and how they should act. Prime tore that playbook up and threw it out the window.”
Coach Prime may not be a prolific college football coach, but everybody can see his influence over Colorado. Now he’s getting prepped for another social media bomb in collaboration with former New York Giants player Michael Strahan and comedian Kevin Hart. Coach Prime is set to release a comedy sequel to the Coach Prime docuseries on Amazon Prime.
