In addition to the misery of the recent 56-14 Washington State blowout, Coach Prime Deion Sanders has something else to worry about. In what is the last hit to their hope, Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders suffered multiple injuries in the last game that left his gripping abilities lagging. But the question is how is he holding up?

Shedeur Sanders suffered four sacks in the last game, left the game twice due to injury, and wasn’t able to return to the game after the second injury. After their last loss, they’ve lost their chance to play in the bowl game but with their next match against the Utah Utes, they do need their quarterback fit and healthy on the field.

Coach Prime believes Shedeur Sanders’ presence on the field will impact victory

Coach Prime Deion Sanders commented that his son Shedeur Sanders is not feeling well right now saying it’s a day-by-day situation. The Colorado QB left the Week 12 game against Washington State with several injuries. Following that, Deion Sanders reported that Shedeur Sanders was feeling numb in his throwing hand making it difficult to grip the football. 

Everybody is curious about Shedeur Sanders and if he’ll be able to play in the next game. Coach Prime stated, “We’re praying that he gets healthy and he’s able to play because he is who he is and when he’s on the field, we have a tremendous chance to win.” In the upcoming game, they will face the 7-4 Utah Utes and Deion Sanders is right; Colorado needs all their best players for the showdown on November 26. 

Colorado falls yet again to Washington State

The fall of Coach Prime’s Buffaloes is a devastating blow to many fans who pledged their hopes and even their houses, in some cases, to their victory. In the last game, they tailed 21-7 after the first quarter and Shedeur Sanders suffered numbness in his hand after taking a shot from Ron Stone Jr., resulting in a fumble.

After the dreadful performance, Coach Prime took to the team’s official website to say the following, “I’m very sad of how we played. We practiced hard this past week. We prepared, and to go and display a performance like that it’s not indicative of who we are, what we are, how we are.” Deion Sanders is aware that his son’s absence in the game gave Washington State an upper hand as he continued, “They executed early and executed often and when they got Shedeur out of the game, it was tough sledding from then on.

It’s difficult to decipher Colorado’s next game against Utah given Shedeur Sanders’ inconclusive health update. The Buffs’ edge would certainly spike if the star QB gets back in the game. But would he be able to recover completely from the numbness? It’s their final season game and every fan hopes for the best for Coach Prime and the Buffs.
