Jason Brown doesn’t hide his emotions when it comes to judging Coach Prime and Colorado. He recently took to his YouTube channel on The Coach JB Show with Big Smitty to pick a beef with Coach Prime and the Colorado Buffaloes. After slamming out the faults from Colorado’s spring practice video clips and hurling his disapproval at Deion Sanders’ coaching, Darnell Smith called out his erratic reaction to Coach Prime.

Big Smitty said that Brown’s critique is possibly only because he doesn’t like Deion Sanders and Colorado in particular. After all, nitty-gritty faults such as late hits are common things that are prevalent in training camps be it spring or summer. He expressed his objection to Coach JB’s reaction saying, “I get upset because you know. So it’s like you’re picking and choosing what stuff you want to go at just because you already have a preconceived belief of what you think about Colorado and Deion.”

Coach JB, who calls his show the “realest sports show on Planet ERF,” then makes things clear to the haters out there by procuring a DM that Coach Prime allegedly sent to him on April 29, 2023. Deion Sanders’ text message read, “You are Real my man. God bless you.” To this, Coach JB replied, “My man tell Heart and Darian Hagan I said don’t be no slapdicks. Those are my guys brutha much love keep doing you.” This earned a “will do my man” response from Coach Prime.

After showing his viewers the DM, Coach JB who admitted he respects Deion Sanders, said, “Man I’m so hated by him. I thought I hated by him. I thought that I was just the hater.” He went on to talk about being real because as he said, “I don’t care if it’s the truth from whoever hears the truth. I want to hear the truth.” He also added, “The point I’m making is don’t talk about it. The humility factor has gotten way over my head and I’m over with it.” The reason why Coach Prime fell out of Brown’s favor is because he talks too much.

Coach Prime remains unhinged by criticism

As the saying goes, if you can’t walk the talk, don’t talk at all. Deion Sanders may have found insane confidence when he began last season on a bright 3-0 note. But as the defeats continued to stack up, his confidence remained unfazed. But while the field record may be disappointing, he has excelled in other aspects by boosting Colorado’s financial, cultural, and social aspects.

Critics just serve as the fuel for his words to become more confident and his determination to get stronger. He has learned from last season’s mistakes on the field and is poised to change things for the better this season as is seen by his impressive recruits. Only time will tell if his confidence and decisions will be able to help him walk his talk in the 2024 season.
