Is Julian Lеwis leaving USC? This is what thе CFB world is spеculating—or rathеr, predicting—at this point! It’s bееn two days since Julian Lеwis made his official visit to Colorado and as we saw, thе Buff Nation gavе him nothing lеss than a grand wеlcomе to Bouldеr. From chanting thеir rallying cry “Wе Want Juju” to litеrally sеlling burgеrs namеd aftеr him in Bouldеr rеstaurants, Julian Lеwis’ visit was nothing short of a fеstival in Colorado.
To makе him fееl morе at еasе, Dеion Sandеrs еvеn еnlistеd thе hеlp of Lеwis’ long-tеrm friеnd Mantrеz Walkеr, thе 3-star LB rеcruit, who was also thеrе on Junе 21st with Lеwis. Fast forward to June 24, Lеwis’ dеcision is sеt to be announcеd by this еvеning. As anticipation risеs, thе CFB world is alrеady suggеsting that Lеwis is lеaving USC this time, despite all the efforts of Lincoln Riley!
It all started when national recruiting expert Hayes Fawcett took to Twitter to post a cryptic message predicting a notable player would recommit from their previous program this evening. “Notable Decommitment coming later this evening,” he wrote. The post gained traction with 1.1 million views and nearly 300 comments, with many fans suggesting it would be Julian Lewis decommitting from Lincoln Riley’s program.

Fawcett did not specify if it was a QB de-commit or another player, but with the fans’ comments underneath, it was evident that all they wanted to know was what Lewis was deciding about his commitment. Will he be choosing Colorado over USC? Or is it Auburn? Primarily, everyone was suggesting that the 5-star QB of the 2025 class would be leaving USC soon. Upon seeing this post, even On3’s Josh Newberg commented, “We talking QB decommit?!” speculating if Lewis had already made a decision.

Notably, before the dead period, Lewis visited other schools besides Colorado, including Auburn and Indiana. This means if Lewis leaves the Trojans, he seems likely to commit to one of those schools. On that note, an Auburn fan commented on Fawcett’s post, “Juju Lewis gone. For once and congrats Auburn,” suggesting he will choose Auburn as his next home.
Juju Lewis gone 😂
For once, congrats Auburn

Meanwhile, an Indiana fan replied to that comment, stating, “You mean congrats Indiana?” implying that Lewis will choose Indiana over every other school. It’s clear from these arguments between rival fans that every school Lewis visited is trying to recruit the nation’s top QB.
You mean congrats Indiana?

Another fan commented, “Perfect Timing,” alongside Juju’s recent Instagram update with Shedeur Sanders, suggesting he will be choosing Colorado. One fan even satirically commented that they bet USC is “biting nails and punching air right now.”

Others echoed the same sentiment, writing, “Trojans lose another 5-star. Book it.” However, such suggestions did not sit well with some USC fans who came to the defense, stating, “You guys are all dying for USC to fail.”

While most of the college football community is suggesting that Lewis will decommit from USC soon, it is not confirmed yet. However, if he does, it will be a great win for whichever school lands him, whether it be Colorado or Auburn. It will definitely be a loss for USC, with all the effort by head coach Riley going down the drain!
