It’s a rough season for the Colorado Buffaloes with their most recent loss against Washington. The team lost with a humiliating defeat of 56-14, and all hopes for the Bowl contention were lost with the game. HC Deion Sanders faced immense criticism from the public. Not to mention, Jason Whitlock’s harsh comments put the team in an embarrassing situation. However, WR Travis Hunter came forward for the team’s defense.
The Bleacher Report on YouTube posted Travis Hunter’s reaction to the loss against Washington. And it was then that Hunter dropped the valuable words he knew. The young wide receiver stood up for Shedeur Sanders and his entire team. Even though he knows they cannot get the Bowl contention back, he knows what he needs to do next.

Hunter was very down about the loss against the Huskies but feels there is no time to sulk over it anymore. He has his mind set on what needs to be done while emphasizing something logical that people often forget. The WR stated, “Well, it’s just tough, bro. I don’t like losing. Hate losing, but hey, it comes with the game. You can’t win them all. That’s all I know.”
He continued, “I know all I do is continue to prepare, continue to just go out and play hard, do what I got to do to get better, work on my craft.” It was also long before the loss to Washington that Hunter displayed his optimism, saying, “It’s football… You just gotta get up and fight again.” That statement proves to be applicable in this situation, too.
Even though Travis is still hopeful and optimistic, Deion Sanders is extremely saddened by the loss. He did not like how his team played against Washington when he expected so much better from them. The HC was reportedly dealing with an illness, and he started to feel more sick during the match. Why so?

Deion Sanders’s sickness during the Washington match
Sandеrs was sick whilе pacing thе Buffaloеs’ sidеlinе, and hе had to watch his son, star quartеrback Shеdеur Sandеrs, suffеr arm and anklе injuriеs. Sandеrs did not rеturn to thе gamе, and thе Buffaloеs’ backup quartеrbacks Ryan Staub and Gavin Kuld took ovеr for thе rеst of thе gamе.
Considеring that Dеion Sandеrs was alrеady sick coming into thе gamе–and thе way his Buffaloеs played probably didn’t help–and thе fact that Colorado football has managed to losе in a variеty of ways, it’s no surprisе that hе would call this thе most challеnging strеtch of his lifе.
